I'm sorry if this is obvious in the Gundam fandom, but is this what Amuro actually looked like in the Freedom Fighter Prototype?

Yes and no! Yasuhiko gave Amuro orange hair and in the Making of Gundam noted that Amuro (then Hongo Azuma) was to be visually unappealing and called him 'carrot head'. I changed some minor details, primarily his uniform color as well as his eyes, even his persona. There's no silly questions, feel free to PM me if you want to know more!
